Terms of Use

These Terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("Mirror", "we") for use of the Mirror app and website. By using Mirror, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Mirror suggests outfits from products sold by independent stores, based on your style, sizes and budget; optionally shows those outfits on your photo using AI; and links you to the store where you can buy them.

Mirror is not a seller or a marketplace. Purchases, payment, delivery, returns and warranties are between you and the store, under the store's terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Mirror. The AI providers Mirror relies on also prohibit use by minors.

3. Your account

You can use Mirror as a guest. If you create an account, keep access to your sign-in e-mail, phone or Google/Apple account secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → My account.

4. Prices, stock and images

Product information comes from stores' product feeds and may have changed. The price, discount and availability shown on the store's product page are the ones that apply.

Price history and discount checks are estimates based on the prices we have observed, for information only.

Try-on images are generated by AI and labelled "Made with AI". They may not show exactly how an item looks, fits or what color it is. Use the store's size guide when choosing a size.

5. Photo and content rules

• Upload only photos of yourself, or of another adult who has given you permission.
• Do not upload photos of anyone under 18.
• Do not upload or create nude, sexual or violent content, or content that infringes anyone's rights.
• Do not use generated images to deceive, impersonate, harass or defame anyone.
• Do not misuse the service: no scraping, reverse engineering, automated access, attempts to bypass limits, or interfering with our systems.

You keep ownership of your photos. You give us a limited licence to process them only to provide the features you request. You can report a problematic AI image in the app.

6. Credits

• Mirror is free to use. Only Pro try-ons use credits, and you get a number of free try-ons each day. The cost of a Pro try-on in credits is shown in the app.
• Credits are bought through Google Play, the App Store or our web payment provider, at the price shown at checkout (including any applicable taxes). They do not expire, have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
• If a try-on fails for a technical reason, the credits used are refunded automatically.
• Test credits in preview versions involve no payment and do not carry over.

7. Subscriptions

If we offer a Mirror+ subscription, it will be sold through the App Store or Google Play and will renew automatically until you cancel. Billing, renewal and cancellation follow that store's terms; you can cancel at any time in your store account's subscription settings.

8. Our content

Mirror's design, software and content belong to [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] or its licensors. Product names, images and trademarks belong to their owners. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Mirror for your own non-commercial use.

9. Third-party stores and links

Store websites are run by third parties. We are not responsible for their products, prices, delivery, content or privacy practices. Some links are affiliate links (see "Affiliate Disclosure, Ads & AI").

10. Suspension and ending

You can stop using Mirror at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these Terms or misuses the service, and we may change or discontinue features. Unused purchased credits will be handled as required by law and the relevant store's policies.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will tell you about significant changes in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Mirror after that, the new Terms apply.

If you are in the United Kingdom

Your rights to cancel: credits are digital content supplied immediately. When you buy them, you ask us to supply them straight away and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once supply has begun (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). This does not affect refund rights under the store's policies.

Your statutory rights: nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to digital content that is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses.

Governing law: these Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there.

Disclaimer: to the fullest extent permitted by law, Mirror is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy of product information or AI-generated content.

Limitation of liability: to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim relating to Mirror is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

Credits purchases are final except where a refund is required by law or offered under the App Store, Google Play or payment provider's policies.

Governing law: [GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE FOR US USERS, TO BE DECIDED], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your state.
