AI Try-On Consent

Virtual try-on is optional. This notice explains what you agree to when you turn it on. If you do not consent, you can still use every other part of Mirror.

What you agree to

By ticking the consent box, you agree that Mirror may store the photo you add on your device; send it, through Mirror's servers, to an AI image provider each time you tap "Try it on", only to create that try-on image; and store the resulting image on your device.

Your photo shows how you look and what you wear and, in some cases, could reveal sensitive information such as religious beliefs. We use it only for try-on. We do not extract face geometry or other biometric identifiers, we do not use it for facial recognition, advertising or AI training, and we never store it on our servers.

Each try-on image is created by AI and labelled "Made with AI". It may not show exactly how the item fits, its true color or its size.

Your promises

• You are 18 or older.
• You will only upload photos of yourself, or of another adult who has given you permission.
• You will not upload photos of anyone under 18, or nude, sexual, violent or otherwise unlawful images.

"Modest" style preference

If you choose the "Modest" style, you agree that this preference is used on your device to suggest suitable outfits. It is not sent to our servers or to the Stylist.

How to withdraw consent

You can withdraw at any time, without giving a reason: Profile → My Mirror photo → "Delete my photo" removes your photo and try-on images from your device. You can change your style under Profile → "Style, sizes & budget". Withdrawing does not affect try-ons made before.
